Almost November

Honestly, I can’t believe it is almost November.  Time is flying by….

Please keep me updated on the applications and acceptances.

We have submitted 90 applications to 38 colleges in 13 different states.  

I will be sending a letter home this week to those of you who have not applied to a college yet.  I am reminding you to begin working on your applications and know that I am here to assist if needed.  The sooner the better for college applications.  You risk missing deadlines for acceptances and for financial aid if you are not careful.  Right now, we have 38 seniors who have not applied to a college (or have not let me know you have applied).

Agnes Scott College will be in the area for the Macon College Fair and will be conducting interviews if any students are interested in Agnes Scott.  Please see Coach Thompson for more information.

Georgia Southern reminders

Southern Scholars Showcase at Georgia Southern is Nov. 30-Dec.1st.  Students with 1300 or higher SAT and strong academic will have opportunity to interview for scholarships.  Apply by Nov. 1st.  Final deadline for all scholarship applications is January 31st!

Open House is Oct. 27th from 8:00-1:00.

UGA/GA Tech

Seniors...please don't forget that the Early Action Deadlines for UGA and GA Tech are Monday the 15th.  If you apply to UGA Early, you must let me know so I can send the transcript and do the School Evaluation.  For GA Tech, you may need a copy of your transcript to self-report your grades.
